SAKA CAFFÉ GUIDE
Saka Caffé Guide: Explore the Neapolitan Blends
Saka Caffé brings the tradition of Neapolitan espresso from Naples, Italy to coffee drinkers who appreciate classic Italian coffee.
The Saka collection ranges from bold, Robusta-forward blends to 100% Arabica coffees and the medium-roasted Tafuri line.
The easiest way to understand the collection is to look at each blend individually.
⸻
Saka Caffé Crema Bar
60% Arabica / 40% Robusta
Crema Bar is a balanced example of traditional Neapolitan espresso.
The 60/40 Arabica-to-Robusta ratio gives it a combination of aromatic character, body and crema. Its profile features dark chocolate and raisin, with low acidity and a creamy texture.
Best for: Traditional espresso, cappuccino and anyone looking for a balanced Italian blend.
Try Crema Bar if: You want classic Italian espresso without going too heavily toward either Arabica or Robusta.
⸻
Saka Caffé Gran Bar
75% Arabica / 25% Robusta
Gran Bar is one of the more Arabica-forward traditional Saka blends.
It combines several Arabica varieties with Robusta to create a creamy, low-acidity espresso with hints of spice.
The higher Arabica percentage gives it a somewhat softer and more aromatic character than the Robusta-heavy blends.
Best for: Espresso and moka pot.
Try Gran Bar if: You enjoy traditional Italian coffee but prefer more Arabica character.
⸻
Saka Caffé Top Select
100% Arabica
Top Select shows that a traditional Italian espresso doesn’t need Robusta.
This 100% Arabica blend combines coffees from Central America and produces a balanced cup with chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla characteristics, along with low acidity and rich crema.
Best for: Espresso and milk-based drinks.
Try Top Select if: You want traditional Italian espresso but prefer 100% Arabica.
⸻
Saka Caffé Classic Bar
35% Arabica / 65% Robusta
Classic Bar is the most Robusta-forward blend in the Saka collection.
Its high Robusta percentage creates full body, substantial crema and a bold espresso character, with flavors of dark chocolate and toasted hazelnut.
It is particularly well suited to traditional espresso and milk drinks.
Best for: Strong espresso, cappuccino and moka pot.
Try Classic Bar if: You want bold, full-bodied Italian espresso with plenty of crema.
⸻
Saka Caffé Decaffeinato Bar
50% Arabica / 50% Robusta
Decaffeinato Bar brings the character of traditional Italian espresso to a decaffeinated coffee.
The 50/50 Arabica and Robusta blend is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, while retaining the body and richness expected from a traditional espresso blend.
Best for: Espresso, cappuccino and evening coffee.
Try Decaffeinato Bar if: You want traditional Italian espresso without the regular caffeine.
⸻
The Tafuri Collection
The Tafuri coffees take Saka Caffé in a somewhat different direction.
These medium-roasted blends are inspired by the Amalfi Coast and allow more acidity, fruit and aromatic character to come forward.
⸻
Saka Tafuri Positano
80% Arabica / 20% Robusta
Positano combines Arabicas from Brazil and Honduras with Robusta from India.
The medium roast produces a silky-bodied espresso with green-apple-like acidity, chocolate and toasted almond.
With 80% Arabica, it offers more origin character while retaining some of the body associated with Robusta.
Best for: Espresso and moka pot.
Try Positano if: You want a medium-roasted Italian espresso with more acidity and Arabica character.
⸻
Saka Tafuri Ravello
100% Arabica
Ravello is the fruit-forward member of the Tafuri collection.
This medium-roasted blend combines Arabicas from Central America, Brazil and Colombia, with flavors of strawberry, raspberry and honey and medium acidity.
It’s quite different from the darker, more traditional Saka espresso profiles.
Best for: Espresso and black coffee.
Try Ravello if: You enjoy sweeter, fruitier coffee and want to explore a different side of Italian roasting.
⸻
Saka Tafuri Amalfi
60% Arabica / 40% Robusta
Amalfi combines three Arabica varieties with two Robusta varieties in a medium-roasted blend.
It has floral aromas, fruit characteristics, delicate body and noticeable but balanced acidity.
The 60/40 ratio gives it more Robusta presence than Positano while maintaining the brighter character of a medium roast.
Best for: Espresso and moka pot.
Try Amalfi if: You want a medium roast with floral and fruity characteristics but still enjoy some Robusta body.
