Notes on Subscriptions
I've been hesitant to add subscriptions due to unpredictable delays in international shipping and customs processing. Several customers have requested a subscription option so I'm willing to give it a shot!
For everyone that signs up for subscriptions, I will email you in advance of your upcoming order if I think there will be a delay. This way you will have the option to skip if you prefer. I am hoping I am able to plan accordingly and there will be no delays. Another way to look at this is that you'll always get coffee as fresh as possible. If your order is delayed a few days at least it will be shipped out the same day, or next day, that it arrives to me.
I place at least one order every week from Italy, regardless of delays. I do not wait for orders to arrive to me before placing new orders. It is not uncommon for a shipment to be delayed then my following order actually arrives first. Hopefully this is peace of mind so you all know that just because one order is delayed it doesn't mean backup isn't already on the way.
Last note, subscribers will always get the freshest coffee. Sometimes new batches arrive and I still have a small selection left from the previous batch. Subscribers will always get the new batch, regardless of what roast date is advertised on the website.
