ISAAC OBUA [WASHED]

Roasted 09/16

Uganda

Tasting notes:Caramel - Milk chocolate - Orange

Grown on the slopes of Mount Elgon in eastern Uganda, this coffee from Isaac Obua comes from one of the country's most promising coffee-growing regions. Mount Elgon is an ancient, extinct volcano that now forms a vast massif on the border between Uganda and Kenya. Its slopes offer a particularly fertile environment for Arabica coffee.

Isaac Obua's batch includes three emblematic varieties from the region: Nyasaland, SL14, and SL28. This trio is representative of the Elgon coffee genetic heritage. The choice of a washed process enhances the clarity of the cup and emphasizes its purity and aromatic structure.

In the cup, caramel, milk chocolate, and orange create a rich and indulgent profile, with a brown sweetness reminiscent of caramel and a gentle acidity with orange notes. Finally, the milk chocolate provides balance without overpowering the coffee. A truly indulgent cup to discover.
